HOW DO I KNOW IF MY CHILD NEEDS SPEECH THERAPY?
Some signs your child may need speech therapy include:
Lack of/limited language production
Limited engagement/play with others
Unintelligible (i.e. difficulty understanding) speech production or speech sound errors that are no longer age appropriate
Difficulty retelling real-life events/events within fictional story or answering questions from a story

Where do therapy sessions take place?
I am based in Alexandria, VA and provide in-home therapy sessions within a 20 mile radius of Alexandria throughout Northern Virginia. Please contact me for more information.
Is teletherapy an option?
Yes! Depending on if virtual therapy is a good fit for your child I provide virtual therapy sessions. If you are outside of my radius this may be a good option for you!
What can i expect out of speech therapy sessions?
1:1 therapy sessions with a child typically last 50 minutes with the last 10 minutes being used to educate caregivers/family members regarding the child’s progress on their goals and ideas for carryover throughout the week.
How long will my child be in therapy?
Each child’s rate of progress is unique and dependent on a family’s ability to generalize skills beyond individual therapy sessions. Most children attend weekly therapy sessions. Progress, re-evaluation, and collaboration between other professionals, teachers, and parents determine a target graduation from speech therapy.
what are your session fees?
Individual speech therapy sessions cost $180 per session.
what is the cost of an evaluation?
Fees vary depending on several factors. Please contact me to get the most updated rate.
Do you accept insurance?
No. I provide diagnostic and procedural codes on your invoices which you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. While I am not in-network with any providers, insurance companies can cover a percentage of speech services depending on a family’s out-of-network rate/deductible. Insurance policies differ person to person so it is best to call your insurance company beforehand and ask about coverage.
what form of payment is accepted?
I accept cash, zelle, or venmo.
